Music Acoustics!
Physics and music have been closely related for thousands of years. This site presents, in musician-friendly format, some of our research work in music acoustics. Navigate around the site: there are sections on various types of musical instruments and on speech. In each case, there is a simple introduction suitable for non-technical readers, as well as sections on research. The 'Basics' section gives a simple introduction to general topics in acoustics (decibels, waves and so on).
